Learn how GBH News’ practical approach to collaborative editing and storage allows reporters and producers across the newsroom to contribute to digital video projects. We’ll outline our methods for uploading field footage, organizing assets, standardizing Adobe Premiere projects, tracking asset delivery, and archiving finished projects.

Want to improve your images and video content? Chad will live-grade scenes to illustrate different kinds of color grading – from basic to advanced. He’ll show how to level up your project, how to read scopes, and make it legal, and how to approach challenging footage. He’ll also share a few tricks and best practices that he’s learned along the way.

Modern Post Production: Organizing Content, AI, and Picture to Sound Workflows
No matter what method or technology you use, the fact remains that you can’t start editing until you have footage to work with. In this session we’ll discuss strategies for managing content, as well as the role of the Assistant Editor in this process. We will also look at the impact that AI has in Post Production, as well as some new innovations in round tripping between Avid Media Composer and Pro Tools.
