What ties it all together in producing content? The music!
In our final Business Affairs workshop, we’ll talk about best practices for producers to source music including original compositions and songs, licensed material, and libraries. Who owns the music you produce – between the client, composer, and publishers. We’ll also touch on the types of contracts you encounter in work for hire versus music copyrights, master and publishing rights, and working with PRO's (Performing Rights Organizations) like ASCAP and BMI.
With fun and current examples of music rights uses and cases, you’ll leave humming a sweet tune!
