Business Affairs for Content

Workshop Series

This four-part series is not to be missed! Business Affairs can seem like a complex and even scary process to navigate as you develop and execute your best work. We are assembling industry leaders to offer best practices from concept thru production and delivery. Come to hear current “watch outs” and stories from real “gotcha” experiences. We’ll talk about how to plan to avoid future pitfalls, find solutions to tricky issues, and clearing the path to get your content into the world.

Sessions will include networking, talks, and Q&A. A great opportunity for agency producers, production teams, in-house agencies, and freelance producers to gain invaluable insights and receive feedback.

Intro to Business Affairs

Tuesday, Sept 17th @ Arnold Worldwide

CYA! We’ll talk with veteran agency Business Affairs leaders on what happens in the kick-off of a new project, best practices to follow, and how they manage the interests between creative and producers. What are the agreements and contracts that need to be in place, and when. We’ll distinguish what terms like “work for hire”, “royalty free” and “rights managed” mean for getting your project done and Covering Your Assets!
