Smart Budgeting is a 3-part series focused on commercial producing for agency producers, production teams, in-house agencies, account services, corporate marketing teams, and freelance producers. Each workshop is led by a group of industry veterans from each of these aspects of producing among others.

When an advertising campaign is initiated, where does the budget come from? In our final Smart Budgeting workshop we’ll look at how the budget is decided for the execution of a marketing initiative and how agency partners help influence the process.

We’ll hear from account directors about what sets the road map for the budget and how it flexes throughout the process. Detailed considerations include: creative direction, media buying, production entities, and client relationships. How do all the parts of the chain can work together to be more strategic and creative in solving budget challenges to produce great work?
