IP is protected in law by, for example, patents, copyright and trademarks, which enable people to earn recognition or financial benefit from what they invent or create.

In this IP workshop – we’ll cover what to look out for from concept thru post production, with real examples and a fun list of visual “watch outs.” Our Business Affairs experts will talk about how a concept is presented to avoid infringement, identifying ownership rights, and tricks-of-the-trade for obtaining permissions for your work. We’ll point out what to be aware of and watch out for on set (wardrobe, props, locations, etc) – how to manage corrections in post when issues arise, and the scrutiny that advertising and social media bring into play.
