Filmed in Massachusetts, ‘Sound of Metal’ is released by Amazon on November 20th in theaters, and available to watch on Amazon Prime Video on December 4th.
The feature film was based in Lynnfield and shot in 9 cities and towns including Boston, Cambridge, Danvers, Framingham, Ipswich, Lawrence, Malden, Rowley, and Topsfield.
Over 155 MA residents were employed including crew, principal, and background actors.
During the 3 months that “Sound of Metal” was in Massachusetts, the production bought or rented goods and services from 763 businesses in 93 cities and towns in the Commonwealth.
