Filmed in Massachusetts, the Netflix original motion picture premieres on August 21st.
On Friday, August 21st, Netflix premieres the family adventure-comedy “The Sleepover.”
Over 525 Massachusetts residents were employed by the production including crew, principal, and background actors. In addition, another 40 Massachusetts residents were employed to complete visual effects on the film.
During the 4 months that “The Sleepover” was filmed in 2019, the production bought or rented goods and services from 1,250 businesses in 123 cities and towns in the Commonwealth.
The film was shot in 5 cities and towns including Boston, Hanover, Hanson, Randolph, and Scituate.
