Filmed in Massachusetts, the motion picture is released by Netflix on March 6th!
In 2018, Netflix's "Spenser Confidential" shot for 55 days in 13 local cities and towns including: Boston, Braintree, Brookline, Lynn, Malden, North Reading, Randolph, Raynham, Revere, Walpole, Weston, Weymouth, and Winthrop.
The production was based in Boston and Randolph for 6 months and employed over 525 MA residents including crew, principal, and background actors.
"Spenser Confidential" is based on the novel "Wonderland" from the Spenser mystery series – the source material for the popular 1980’s television show "Spenser: For Hire" filmed in Boston from 1985-1987.
