MPC Updates Regarding COVID-19
Dear MPC Members & Supporters,
We hope this finds you safe and adjusting to the unique set of challenges as measures for the COVID-19 virus have intensified by the day, and hours.
We have added a page to MPC’s website with resources for industry members with relief efforts for individuals and businesses, and links to find information.

We will monitor and update information as available that may be helpful. Foremost, it is important to closely follow the recommendations of our state and local government agencies, as policies can and will change by the day.
MPC's board of directors and staff are in regular communication with each other, the state's Massachusetts Film Office, and union locals IATSE Local 481 and SAG-AFTRA New England.
Like many, we are suspending MPC’s Spring programs for now until recommendations for social distancing improve. Obviously, this is a great disappointment as we have more than 7 event-based programs planned for you to take place throughout the Spring and early Summer; including a new Workshop Series, Seminars, annual events like Women Connect and PA Workshop, and student film programs, among others.
We are hopeful the public health emergency improves sooner than later, and that we will be able to resume events with new dates as opportunities to gather are more stable. The health and safety of our community, and workers in the field, is everyone's first priority.
Our work continues as we adjust to new measures, remote work solutions, unique business and professional challenges. Towards that end, we are looking at further opportunities for remote and online solutions to support our members and industry.
Don't hesitate to contact us if you have recommendations and resources to share.
One of the greatest values of our community is how we come together. It will be just as important for us to be a supportive network in a time where information and resource sharing is especially meaningful.
As we all navigate this together, your commitment and generosity are essential and deeply appreciated.
Take care, and in health. MPC's Board of Directors & Staff
