Filmed in Massachusetts: the 20th Century Studios science fiction action comedy film "Free Guy" is released in theaters nationwide on Friday, August 13th.
Production for the film was based in Charlestown and Randolph in 2019, and shot in 7 cities and towns including: Boston, Framingham, Lynn, Randolph, Revere, Weymouth, and Worcester.
During the 7 months that “Free Guy” was in Massachusetts, the production employed over 575 Massachusetts residents including crew, principal and background actors.
