Filmed in Massachusetts, the Sony Pictures film based on the classic novel by Louisa May Alcott is released worldwide December 25th.
In 2018, the feature film "Little Women" shot for 50 days in 11 cities and towns including Boston, Canton, Concord, Franklin, Groton, Harvard, Ipswich, Lancaster, Lawrence, Stoughton, and Waltham.
The production was based in Lexington, Billerica, and Franklin for 6 months and employed over 500 MA residents including crew, principal, and background actors.

The Massachusetts Film Office in coordination with Sony Pictures and the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism have created a self-guided tour of 19 historical sites in 9 Massachusetts towns that were used in the making of "Little Women".
