Attend a Zoom rally to learn what you can do to help protect our state's film and television industry and Keep MA Film Jobs Alive!
The Massachusetts Film & Television Incentive program is set to expire, and is now under attack in the State Senate's budget proposal. If action isn't taken, film and television productions will no longer come to our state. The jobs they create will be lost and local small businesses will be hurt.
After the State House of Representatives voted unanimously to remove the expiration of the film incentive program in their State Budget proposal, the State Senate has proposed changes that would effectively kill the program. Now the two chambers will work in Conference Committee to resolve the Legislature's State Budget proposal.
We need all hands on deck to protect our industry!
Join members of MPC, I.A.T.S.E., SAG-AFTRA New England, and Teamsters Local 25 for a Zoom meeting on the state budget process, and what you can do to help this get passed and Keep MA Film Jobs Alive!
