Made in MA
John Stimpson, Writer / Director / Producer

We’re thrilled to welcome John Stimpson, the prolific writer, director, and producer behind H9 Films based in Worcester, MA. With over 25 feature films under his belt, John’s work spans genres and has been distributed worldwide. His well-known titles include The Legend of Lucy Keyes, A Christmas Kiss, The Wrong Car, and Ghost Light. Recently, he’s created a series of holiday films for The Hallmark Channel, Lifetime Network, and AMC+, including his newest release, A Very Vermont Christmas, which premiered in July and will return this holiday season.

A strong advocate for filming locally in Massachusetts, John will dive into his filmmaking process, share insights about the industry, and offer a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to bring his films to life. This is a great opportunity to hear from a filmmaker whose projects have both local roots and wide-reaching appeal!

Eric Aronson, Writer / Director

Writer-director Eric Aronson will join us to talk about his creative journey, sharing from his extensive screenwriting work and upcoming directorial debut. He has written scripts for major studios including Warner Bros., Disney, Lionsgate, and Stampede Ventures, working closely with talents such as Sacha Baron Cohen, Jerry Bruckheimer, and Johnny Depp. For the latter, his writing credits include “Mortdecai”, “Dark Shadows”, and “The Lone Ranger”. Eric is now making his directorial debut with “Any Day Now” filmed in Massachusetts, and is adapting Tom Robbins' “Still Life With Woodpecker” for Andrew Lazar at Mad Chance. Don’t miss this special conversation to learn insights from a dynamic storyteller!
