Urgent: House could vote on budget amendment as early as next Monday to remove expiration of the film incentive program.

Your help is needed! Attend a Zoom meeting to learn what you can do to help protect our industry and Keep MA Film Jobs Alive.

Join members of MPC, IATSE Local 481, SAG-AFTRA New England, and Teamsters Local 25 for a Zoom meeting on the state budget process, what this means for the stand-alone bills filed, and what you can do to help protect the film and television industry right now.

The Massachusetts film and television incentive is set to expire. If that happens, film and television productions will no longer come to our state. The jobs they create will be lost and local small businesses will be hurt.

An amendment to the House Budget has been filed that would eliminate the film incentive's sunset, and the House will vote on amendments as early as Monday, April 26th. We need to support this amendment to the fullest.

Registration Notes

You must pre-register to receive access to the Zoom meeting.

A Zoom meeting link is included in the bottom section of your ticket confirmation. A reminder with the link will also be sent prior to the event start time.

Donate

If you feel moved to contribute, donations to this campaign will directly support the tools needed to keep the film tax incentive in Massachusetts.
