Casey Sherman is a film producer, screenwriter, renowned investigative journalist and multi-New York Times Bestselling Author of ten books, including the maritime classic The Finest Hours (now a major motion picture from Walt Disney Studios starring Chris Pine and Oscar winner Casey Affleck), Boston Strong, which inspired the acclaimed film Patriots Day starring Mark Wahlberg, The Ice Bucket Challenge (soon to be a Netflix motion picture), Animal (in development as a motion picture for 20th Century FOX) and the current NY Times Bestseller 12: The Inside Story of Tom Brady's Fight for Redemption and Above & Beyond: John F. Kennedy and the Cold War's Most Dangerous Spy Mission. Casey's books have been re-printed in seven languages and are read and enjoyed by millions around the world.   

Casey is the founder of Fort Point Media with partner Dave Wedge, a film and television production company based in Boston. Fort Point's current projects include the features TURK about the life of Boston Bruins legend Derek Sanderson, and Franconia Notch, co-written by John Stimpson. 

Casey has been awarded the Edward R. Murrow Award for Journalistic Excellence, the prestigious Truth & Justice Award from the Cold Case Institute of America, and has been enshrined in the National Crime Museum for his groundbreaking investigative work on the notorious Boston Strangler case and the murder of his late aunt Mary Sullivan.
